Refugees from Syria have been using social media to compare smugglers, find which places are safe, and plan their routes to safety.
A report by AP shows that refugees have been taking advantage of social media to learn about their journey, stay in contact with fellow migrants and keep abreast of danger.
It’s a much more positive use for social media in this climate of crisis then certain English people have taken on, with some people posting harsh, negative reviews of hotels that offer rooms to migrants on Tripadvisor.
